Shag is a walk-in wardrobe of decades long gone but instead of daggy, think glam. It features retro gear and vintage wear dating from the 1980s back, and you could come across the occasional Moschino or Dior masterpiece. Jewellery, shoes and accessories are another Shag obsession; pre-loved compacts and Guerlain perfume bottles will add instant glitz to any dressing table. A small selection of new clothing that fits into the vintage vibe is also available and many clients choose to mix and match their eras. 

Nikki Farquason’s ‘Mixed media Girls’ will be my inspiration for this assignment. I think the variation of illustrative and graphic elements in this art will give me alot of ideas to work with. The pictures have a distinct 80s vibe about them so i think that the vintage store ‘shag’ would be a good choice to use as my shop. 

The pictures themselves are predominantly made up of shapes and blocked colour. The tones of colour used is bright, vibrant and fluorescent.
